What is Polyquaternium 10?
Polyquaternium-10 is a water-soluble cationic polymer compatible with all kinds of surfactant. With good performances of thickening, colloid stability, antistatic, moisturization, lubrication, it can repair damaged hair, and impart good moisturization and manageability to hair, as well as reduce irritation caused by surfactants, recover skin’s self-protection, impart skin moisture, lubricity and a elegant afterfeel.
Function:
1.The polyquaternium-10 is used for hair cconditioner, hair care, cosmetic raw materials. As hair conditioner,it can improve hair repair,be easy to comb.
2.It makes hair more smooth and health. As cationic water-souble conditioners,it can reduce irrtation of formula and protect hair and skin care product.

Uses Polyquaternium-10 (PQ-10) and Polyquaternium-7 (PQ-7) are two of the most frequently used polymers in commercial shampoos. Both of these polymers form negatively charged complexes with excess anionic surfactant, resulting in reduced deposition because of repulsion by the negatively charged hair surface. The magnitude of this effect depends on the particular anionic used, and on the anionic surfactant/polymer ratio. In all cases, however, conditioning from shampoos is significantly less than from stand-alone conditioners.
